Toys & Kids: Genuine Price Drops on Pokémon Plushies

Finding a good deal on toys for kids can often feel like a treasure hunt, especially when retailers frequently advertise sales. However, not every 'discount' represents true value. At Swuupi, we cut through the noise by measuring the fair value of products, helping you identify when prices have genuinely fallen. This guide focuses specifically on Toys & Kids items that are currently trading at least 15% below our computed fair value, offering significant savings on popular items.

The market right now

The broader Toys & Kids category is always active, with new products arriving and prices fluctuating. However, identifying genuine price drops—where an item is trading substantially below its measured fair value—is key to smart shopping. Our fair value represents what we consider a typical, stable selling price for a product, based on extensive historical data. When an item falls 15% or more below this benchmark, it signals a strong buying opportunity.

Currently, we're seeing some notable discounts on popular Pokémon plush toys. These aren't just minor sales; they represent significant drops against our computed fair value, making them excellent picks if you're in the market for these items. Both products highlighted here carry a 'buy' verdict, meaning their current price makes them a compelling purchase.

What to buy when prices truly drop

When we highlight products with discounts of 20% or more against our computed fair value, it's a clear indication of exceptional value. These are the moments when you can be confident you're getting a price that's well below the typical market rate, based on our in-depth analysis of price history and trends.

Pokémon: Squishmallows - Winking Pikachu Plush 35cm

For fans of both Pokémon and the incredibly soft Squishmallows, the Pokémon: Squishmallows - Winking Pikachu Plush 35cm is currently an outstanding find. It's a perfect gift for collectors or anyone who loves a good cuddle.

Right now, you can purchase this Winking Pikachu plush for 199 kr. This price represents a substantial 31% discount against our computed fair value of 290 kr. To put that into perspective, our observed price range for this item has been between 199 kr. and 503 kr. across 40 price observations. The current price of 199 kr. is at the very bottom of its historical range, making it the cheapest we've ever tracked it. This is a clear 'buy' verdict, offering excellent value on a popular item.

Pokemon Charizard bamse - 60 cm

If you're looking for a larger, more imposing Pokémon plush, the Pokemon Charizard bamse - 60 cm stands out. This impressive 60 cm Charizard plush captures the fiery spirit of one of the most recognisable and powerful Pokémon. Its substantial size makes it a striking addition to any fan's collection or a fantastic companion for imaginative play.

Looking at its price history, we've observed it trading between 439 kr. and 549 kr. across 28 price observations. Like the Pikachu Squishmallow, the current price of 439 kr. is the lowest we've ever recorded for this specific product, making it an undeniable 'buy' opportunity. It's rare to see such a significant discount on an item of this size and popularity.

Timing your purchase

Both the Pokémon: Squishmallows - Winking Pikachu Plush 35cm and the Pokemon Charizard bamse - 60 cm are currently strong 'buy' verdicts. Their prices are not just low; they are at the absolute bottom of their observed historical ranges and significantly below our computed fair value. This indicates that you are unlikely to find these products cheaper in the near future, based on past trends.

When items hit these price points, they represent genuine opportunities to save. We recommend acting if these products are on your shopping list, as such deep discounts, especially on popular items, can be temporary. For future deals and to track other items in the category, always keep an eye on our dedicated Toys & Kids deals page. Swuupi is here to help you identify when the timing is truly right to make a purchase, ensuring you get the best possible value for your money.
