2. Information We Collect

To provide our automated price tracking services, we collect the following categories of information:

• Account & Contact Data:Your email address, which you provide when signing up. If you purchase a Premium subscription, your billing details are processed securely by our payment providers (Stripe/Lemon Squeezy), and we receive only a tokenised payment reference.
• Usage & Tracking Data:The product page URLs you submit to your watchlist, your target price thresholds, and how you interact with our email alerts.
• Technical Data:IP address, browser type and version, device type, and operating system. This is used to diagnose technical issues, prevent fraud, and maintain service security.

3. Legal Basis & Purpose of Processing

Under GDPR Article 6, we must have a valid legal basis to process your personal data. We rely on the following grounds:

• Performance of a Contract (Art. 6(1)(b)):To provide our core service, including monitoring product prices, sending email alerts when a tracked price drops, and managing your Premium subscription.
• Legitimate Interest (Art. 6(1)(f)):To improve our service by analysing anonymised usage patterns, to detect and prevent abuse on the platform, and to ensure network security.
• Legal Obligation (Art. 6(1)(c)):To comply with applicable laws, including retaining billing records as mandated by Danish bookkeeping legislation (Bogføringsloven).
• Consent (Art. 6(1)(a)):For the placement of non-essential cookies and sending promotional marketing material, which you may opt out of at any time.

4. Data Sharing & Affiliate Networks

We never sell your personal data. We share your data only with strictly vetted third parties required to operate our service:

• Infrastructure Providers:We use vendors like Supabase (database hosting), Vercel (web hosting), and Resend (transactional email) under strict data processing agreements.
• Payment Processors:If you upgrade to Premium, your payment is handled directly by Stripe or Lemon Squeezy.
• Affiliate Networks:When you click a 'Buy Now' link on Swuupi, you may be redirected through an affiliate network (e.g., Awin, PartnerAds, Tradedoubler). These networks place a cookie on your device to attribute the sale to Swuupi so we earn a commission. This tracking is based on a click ID and does not share your Swuupi account identity with the retailer.

5. Cookies & Local Storage

We use cookies to operate and improve our platform. You can control cookie preferences through your browser settings.

• Strictly necessary cookies:Required for the website to function, such as securely maintaining your logged-in session.
• Analytics cookies:Help us understand aggregated traffic data. We use privacy-first tracking methods to ensure your identity is protected.
• Affiliate cookies:As mentioned above, third-party affiliate networks may place cookies when you navigate to a retailer's website to track purchase commissions.

6. Data Retention & Deletion

We retain your personal data only as long as necessary:

• Account and watchlist data is retained for the duration of your active account.
• If you delete your account, your personal identifying data (email, active alerts) is wiped from our active databases immediately or within a maximum of 30 days.
• Price history data (the URL and historical price points) is retained indefinitely as an anonymised, aggregate dataset. It cannot be linked back to you after account deletion.
• Billing records are retained for 7 years to comply with Danish accounting laws.

7. Your GDPR Rights

Under GDPR, you have the right to access, rectify, or request the deletion of your personal data ("right to be forgotten"). You also have the right to restrict processing, object to processing, and request data portability.

To exercise these rights, please email privacy@swuupi.com from the email address associated with your account. We will respond within 30 days.

If you believe we have processed your data in violation of applicable laws, you have the right to lodge a complaint with the Danish Data Protection Agency (Datatilsynet) at www.datatilsynet.dk.
